Hmm, this place doesn't seem to be working as well as I'd hoped. I really wanted it to be a central place for all those fans of gay books who've been balancing their discussion in blog comments sections or odd corners of yahoo groups *g*, but it isn't working out like that.

I think most of the members are too busy to read/post here, and try as I might I can't attract new members. The 3 or 4 of us who are posting semi-regularly can't keep a place this size going by ourselves, and to be honest I'm running out of new books to introduce.

I think, unless anyone has any good ideas for keeping it going, that I might have to knock the whole thing on the head. Shame, but not everything works, I guess.

If I do close down, I'll unsub all the members first and delete all the content, so there will just be a bare shell floating in the ether for the spam bots to play with.

It's a shame, as I do always pop in to see what's going on. Maybe it just needs streamlining? So it is more of a gay book review blog, along the lines of Erastes' historical gay fiction blog and Jillysheep's review blog?

Just a thought, but hugs anyway ...

It's an interesting idea, but might it then be too similar to those blogs? I really wanted something a little bit different... different enough to tempt people to post/comment at both!
