Two of the books in this series, Queen's Play and The Disorderly Knights, have blink-and-you-miss-it homosexual scenes.

In QP, Lymond is working undercover at the French Court and has to bed both women and men to get the information he needs. In DK, Lymond and all his friends are captured by the Turks and Lymond sleeps with the shiekh to try to win their freedom.

And in most of the books from QP onwards, there's a strong suggestion that Lymond's best friend and lieutenant, Jerott Blythe, is hopelessly in love with him. Until Lymond's twin sister turns up.... wink.gif

Hmm. Sounds interesting. Further incentive to get myself to the local library and join it.

Yes, I can thoroughly recommend the Lymond series, even without the m/m. wink.gif

She's one of a very small breed of historical authors who does staggering amounts of reserach, so that the whole thing feels totally authentic - in fact you feel you're right back in the 16th century with the characters.

The first book is The Game of Kings. It's probably worth reading them in order since it gives you *some* idea what's going on. LOL. They're densely packed with action....
